Edited 6 months agoVery fun-but-kitschy '60s synth-led rock & pop tunes. Unapologetic "Switched On Bach" rip-off (no disrespect - they call it out themselves) for the 'youth of today'. Almost seems like a dumb idea in some board room handed off to a, frankly, sick band of really talented performers.
From a historical standpoint, it's an interesting artifact that acknowledges the break-through influence of Carlos's music, demonstrates some diverse techniques in early 'East-Coast' subtractive synthesis. Fun gem - not essential, but this one's a keeper! -
If you like to collect vintage MOOG recordings, this one is really good. It rocks with great drumming and other rock instruments along with the Moog. The recording is a lot less-silly than a most other Moog records. Hey Jude is really cool, Feelin' Alright, Both Sides Now... all really well done. Great cover art too.

The digital release (2011) under "Master Classics Records" is a vinyl sourced rip. I can clearly hear the needle on the recording.
