Amazing record. Simultaneously one of the best records ever and only a top 10 Herbie record.

the A side is well known and i played it all the time at parties and stuff, but I didn't really listen to the bside as much. I tell you what: the B Side might be even better than the A side !!

Phenomenal album. Pure genius...funky and groovy. This pressing is also spectacular....definitely one to spin for a newbie who doesn't fully appreciate the glory of Herbie on vinyl.

Is there a greater keyboardist alive today than Mr. Hancock? I seriously doubt it.

As Jazz-Funk goes, nobody is as funky as Herbie. This is a brilliant record with solid tracks start to finish.
The grooves are toe-tappingly funky. Sure, the instruments sound a little dated these days, but for '74 he was really pushing the envelope.

This is an early pressing that sounds amazing. Recommended.

funky as hell, a work of genius. i am always amazed when i listen to it. not only groovy as it can be, there is also so much to detect by repeated listenings. a must have for every fan of funk and jazz fusion.
