What an awesome pressing, sounds pretty good ......... I believe people sgould really clean it up before a first listening!

Maybe a few crackles at the beginning of each side but after a few seconds your totally fine, a cheap pressing but worth adding to your collection

Mine sounds perfectly fine, yeah it's not the best probably, but still. Don't know if they fixed the problems on the later pressings of this? I bought mine over a year ago.

Does this pressing use the same mastering as the version found in The Studio Albums box set from 2012? I presume it does, hence "repress" in the description.

Pressing sounds good to me, plenty dynamics and charm from the original tapes.

sounds fairly dark, the bass and drum specially sound as if they are in another room (the bass sounds like that the most, almost no definition, all bloated), the guitar sounds sometimes (when there's a bridge or solo) as if it's about to clip, if you don't mind these issues i can recommend it, very little soft clicks every now and then, which is also not great but not too bad, no pops or louder stuff. The 180gr of wax is nice too.

if you want a nice and cheap reissue of this lp, take a look of this one https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/The-Who-My-Generation/release/1298673

A rather poor pressing. The sound is not consistent throughout - some tracks have a little bass, others completely lack low frequencies. Some tracks sound clipped and elsewhere the sound is clear.

I dont know what all those "remastering" engineers do or where they learned to hear.. This is called Beat Music but its mastered to dead with a lack of those wild deep basslines and heavy drums you want to hear.. Trying to get hold on some of the records that my parents used to have when i was a child, i will turn to buying used copies of the old releases instead of keep on buying this dull sounding shit..
