Yes and this photo was taken in front of a Chinese Resataurant located at the Nieuwe Dijk in Amsterdam. (Quote Willem Molenaar - biggest Who fan)

Upon first listening, I realized I'd never heard this album in stereo before. This is a major upgrade from the rather dismal MAGIC BUS/MY GENERATION 2-for-1 mid 70's MCA release, but I'm not sure I like this mix as much as the mono. No complaints with the pressing, the music does sound lively and powerful, Keith's drums really stand out at times, but it lacks the punchiness of the mono mix. My copy was purchased new, and plays nice and clean with no surface noise of note. -

I don't have an OP to compare, but this release sounds good given the low-fi garage rock sound of the music. It's an excellent album and I'm glad I finally have a copy of this. The packaging is well done -- using a gloss finish on the front and a matt finish on the rear of the jacket is a nice classic touch. The vinyl is flat and quiet. -
My copy is an A2/B1 and although I really enjoy it, I don't think it holds a candle to the Classic Records pressing. The tape Peckham was given (or maybe he wasn't given a tape IDK) is missing a noticeable amount of air. The bass and guitar is really nice but the drums and vocals are quite veiled in comparison to the Classic. The Classic though certainly isn't perfect as it has a lot of sibilance on some tracks, and can be irritating on occasion especially if your system is bright. But I'd still recommend it over this.

Dang, this is a banger! I thought the release in the Phases box set was good but this thing blows it off the turntable. Sounds amazing with a mono cart.
-
What an awesome pressing, sounds pretty good ......... I believe people sgould really clean it up before a first listening!
-
This is the real deal and preferable to the somewhat tame EMI pressing, especially on side A. Straight into your face!
-
An unusual release in that it's 91 minutes, but being SACD 2 channel only, limits the playability. The album proper sounds stunning, and the pile of bonus tracks vary, but the mono version of My Generation to close out this cool little package sounds awful.

Hi. Can anyone help me please? I have a vinyl copy of this on Brunswick cat. LAT8616 MONO. The letters for Brunswick on the labels are unfilled, unlike all the photos on the above listings. Can anyone help me put a date on this release? Thanks. -
This sounds great. Guitar has a seering, bright, metallic bite. Nice natural sounding record ..... mad what the absence of compression does. Really raw, edgey sound.
