I am huge fan of early U2, and have been systematically filling in my vinyl collection with same. I won't detail the specific tracks too much here as you can get that elsewhere.
Overall, this album and War are quite dense with early '80s reverb wash, and that's over and above Edge's trademark delay repeats. As such, the mix sounds chaotic and at times lacks definition, particularly in the vocals.
Once you understand what you're getting, sit back and enjoy some driving bass, rhythmic guitar washes, and Bono's unmistakable vocal stylings. Sort of like a Nicolas Cage movie role, he can turn from a delicate whisper to a raving lunatic. In a good way.
I do notice the bass on "Bad" seems quite a bit louder than all the other songs.
This pressing is good. No real complaints.
