Sleeve has a pattern in the surface gloss which resembles shattered glass when light reflects off of it.
This version was pressed at Allied Record Company as evidenced by no E A S T in the B-side pressing ring—but an A stamped at the midpoint of the A-side pressing ring—and SP-AR in the runouts. These indicate the plating was done at Specialty and the pressing was performed by Allied.
Catalog number 60855-1 on labels and inner sleeve, 9 60855-1 on spine.

The best I have ever heard this masterpiece. It sucks that it’s missing songs but well worth it for the way this sounds. I really can’t put into words how good it is. If you truly love this album this is the way to go. -
My copy of this has has the "variant 4" runout listed above (which happens to be the exact same runout as this coveted copy -> The Cure - Disintegration) but it is strangely missing the E A S T Pressing Plant ID supposedly associated with this entry... ? Maybe a weird combination of the two releases? Anyway, it sounds incredible! -
I got an original Elektra copy ad a gift. This is my best sounding vinyl on my collection so far. Little to no surface noise and the vocals are crisp and clear. If you ever find a copy of the original release and you are The Cure fan youll be having eargasms like lots.
