I am a very casual fan of Kraftwerk mainly familiar with Autobahn and Trans-Europe. I picked this pres at a shop recently and I am really in love with the gorgeous early electronic analog sound and the creativity and playfulness in the music - which is not overly difficult or out there.

Great record and very influential to the Hip Hop sound of the early 80's.

The first Kraftwerk album I bought and still a favourite. Love it for not having a bad track on it. My first Kraftwerk experience was the Autobahn 7" vinyl, which I still have. Have only seen Kraftwerk once at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester on the Computerworld tour. A concert I will always as one of the best I have ever been to. A band way ahead of their time producing music I will never get tired of listening to.

Kraftwerk at their best IMO, really a seminal piece of work here. I can only really lob heaps of praise onto this album, it really is that amazing.
This was at the point when Synthpop was having its genesis in Europa, largely inspired by Kraftwerk themselves, when Kraftwerk came back from their 3 year hiatus of retooling Kling Klang to deliver us this meisterwerk, which Kraftwerk had a hard time following up, with the technopop industry catching up with them and having a hard time innovating with "Electric Cafe".

This is amongst their best. What each layer of sound may appear simplistic the sheer magnificence of Kraftwerk is that these layers are not overdone and they are just so catchy and memorable. Classic stuff!

My first Kraftwerk album.... I plan to buy the rest now! The B-side of this album is phenomenal. 80's Electro at it's finest! 5/5
