if not ever in my opinion.

In of sounds quality you are absolutely right anyway this Album remains a timeless masterpiece !!!! I a TV spot by British Knights in 1992 were they used Brian and Dougans as testimonials and in the background "Calcium" as soundtrack !!!! Wicked !!!!

This album and this kind of techno reminds me of early 90's when coming home from bar late at night/very early morning and MTV's Party Zone with Simone Angel on tv. Superb!

Such a brilliant sounding album, the repress is clear and dynamic. Goose bumps listening to this on a decent system. Brings back memories of 1991. Smoke, lasers, chill out rooms… you know the rest.

I fucking LOVE this album. Accelerator is FSOL's debut album from 1992 and it is perhaps the sonic essence of that era's Techno sound. Hot off the heels of 808 State and boldly moving into the future of Electronica; with wild sample work, groovy psychedelic soundscapes, bombastic basslines, and unique drum patterns, this was an era where Electronic music was coming into its own yet there was still so much room for experimentation and unique soundscapes.

FSOL's first album (released in '91)and also one of my favorites. Their early 90s work differs a lot from their ambient techno of the mid 90s - it's comparable to the work from Moby and Orbital around the same time. Fans of their ambient style might prefer their later work. This album was probably the first techno that I listened to, so for a long time it has been the standard to which I compare other albums. The track 'Papa New Guinea' has to be one of their best known tracks and one of my all-time favorites. For the fans that like all of FSOL's work also check out their alter ego Amorphous Androgynous.

In 1989 I was still a metal head. Within a year or I had been converted to indie. The Cubik:Olymic came along an alerted me to dance. I became a DJ and danced to Happy Hardcore like it was 1991. This FSOL album is one that totally grabbed me too. Until then it had all been about white labels, but here was a whole album!! Along with Ex:EL - for me - seminal.

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of this release? Is it better than the standard 25th anniversary pressing from 2016?

Does anyone know how many copies of this reissue were pressed? These are numbered, on the back of the sleeve there is a 4 digit number uniquely printed. I have 2 copies, one numbered 0373 and one numbered 0301. Anyone have any info?

This sounds great and is awesome I love it! Happy to have this on vinyl after many many years
