Cosmo's Factory is the fifth of seven studio albums (1967 to 1972)
by the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in July 1970.
The name of the album was taken from the drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford referring to the warehouse where the band rehearsed as "the factory" due to the intensity of the sessions. Sources:

Their best album in my opinion. It does sound pretty damn good, seems the Hollywood pressings are the way to go. Ramble Tamble is a standout track. -
Thick vinyl, nice quiet pressing. The EQ is on the quiet side so you have to turn up the volume quite a bit, then it comes alive. Nice bass and drums, balance and midrange excellent. Damn this rocks! I think the 2014 Kevin Gray cut is excellent but don’t this one up! -
In case you're wondering if this edition of Cosmo"s Factory sounds good...it doesn't. It sounds brilliant. Every song a winner, the recording, mix and mastering on this record leaves you absolutely satisfied. A wonderful listening experience. If you see one, pick it up. Then pay for it. Don't just walk out with it. You'll get in trouble. -

I’ll echo the other reviewers: great mastering! Purchased an unopened copy and vinyl was dirty so give it a good cleaning first. Solid bass and nice snap on the snares, cymbal splashes roll off just right, so well balanced. Kevin Gray for the win! -
Edited one month agoAvoid this Jeff Powell + Memphis Record Pressing garbage. Mediocre sound and noisy vinyl. Get the Abbey Road

Surprisingly good and holds up well next to the superb Half Speed master. The vinyl is thick heavy and quiet and the sound is solid if not spectacular but the reality is prime CCR are never going to sound audiophile demo disc worthy! I put this on with low expectations and sat back and enjoyed the record and i cant say fairer than that!

I have a VG fleamarket press, which I cleaned…Sound is still a little dull and unimpressive. Compared some songs to my greatest hits/chronicles record, which had way more details -
Decent.. the abbey roads is better, the old mofi is better, the Kevin gray 140g is better.
