Compared to the other releases, anyone know what this one sounds like? -

Edited 2 months agoSounds quite good for an unofficial release. The packaging isn’t the greatest though, the front and back covers are extremely pixelated, it’s super glossy and it’s a shame it isn’t a gatefold, but I can look past all of that and still recommend it if you love this album as much as I do -
I have to say for a bootleg this sounds amazing. -

The 3-D artwork is spectacular, the audio engineering is sonically perfect, and the musicianship is world class. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 -
At least on my copy, sides B and D were stamped slightly off center. So the tone arm waves back and forth, and there’s static as the needle hits the sides of the grooves.
I got it for reasonably cheap, so not too upset about it though. -

Edited 7 months agoMy copy definitely has some surface noise. There was also a fair amount of manufacturing debris on the discs that washed away in a run through my Spin-Clean. That helped the sound a little, but there's still some crunchiness here and there; especially when the music gets more quiet or between tracks. Surface noise aside, the sound mix is actually really nice on this unofficial release.
