Edited 7 months agoMy copy definitely has some surface noise. There was also a fair amount of manufacturing debris on the discs that washed away in a run through my Spin-Clean. That helped the sound a little, but there's still some crunchiness here and there; especially when the music gets more quiet or between tracks. Surface noise aside, the sound mix is actually really nice on this unofficial release. -
Edited 8 months agoI had to sonic wash mine, had a lotta shmutz in the grooves. Sounds surprisingly good, better than that cursed picture disc Lateralus you pay the same price for. Mine is very quiet, maybe slight crackle first 10 seconds

Edited one year agoIt sounds rough, as you should expect from a bootleg like this, but it still isn’t bad. Crackling on mine isn’t nearly as bad as other bootlegs, it’s just flat.
At the end of the day, “good enough” sound and slick packaging is all I can ask for from a record like this, and it delivers on both
