If you grew up in Southern California (Read: LA) you grew up with War blaring from car stereos. The importance of this band is only second to the genius of their music. A blend of Latin rock, jazz, soul, funk, and rock. War is the best.

Starting with 'Deliver The Word' WAR went to live on a tropical paradise isle and it started seeping into the tunes. Sounds like Santana was the next cabana over. Still a classic, though not up there with All Day Music and The World Is A Ghetto.

Can't believe this has never been reissued. Hopefully, someone decides to produce a high-quality one eventually.

"Low Rider" is a song which has been featured in a good 13 movies, including Cheech (Cheech Marin = Pedro) and Chong's (Tommy Chong = Anthony) 'Up In Smoke'.
