I believe this is the version that was included in the first bc13 box set. Can anyone confirm this? It almost has to be since this appears to be the only UK copy released in 78???

I got into this hobby post pandemic and one of the first records I bought was the 2018 remix of this album. It sounded great but always thought it sounded sterile and too modern that took away the essence of what the Beatles sounded like.
I found a near mint copy of this and I was blown away. Yes the stereo mix could’ve been more thoughtful but the dynamic range and overall natural balance of frequencies is amazing. The guitar doesn’t sound veiled, drums doesn’t like it’s on steroids and the bass isn’t bloated (all my complaints with Giles Martin remixes).
On my birthday, I always play Birthday. I have way too many memories with this album and I am glad I have such an alive sounding reissue of this classic. -
I think I have this pressing. There's a little jump at the beginning of Back in the USSR, a part from that, it's really great sounding ! -
Was this pressed using the same stampers as the 10th anniversary white vinyl edition? Both are 1978 w/ UK YEX runouts. -
Hello, This is the UK pressing, not Capital Records USA pressing. The big key is that on the Label it says Mfd. in U.K.

Edited 3 years agoI have this album. A US Capitol Records pressing. Says "SWBO 101 Apple Records" on inside of gatefold. The Beatles is embossed. No number. So, mine DOES NOT match inside photos provided in this listing. WHY is the photo in this listing missing the "SWBO 101" print on the inside? I am guessing it means it's a 2nd printing or later.

I think I have this press however it has gold stamped EMIR Demo on reverse. Has anyone heard of this and is it from 1978?

Hi all, my version matches this one except the matrix runouts.. I have for SIDE 5 YEX -709-1 RLH (and all others runouts are all slightly different than these ones..). Anyone have any idea?
