I have this. Plays NM after I wood glued it. Sounds superb on my Technics SL-Q202 with AT95ML. I don’t need to hear the remix because the original is flawless.

I have a nice one but it is 2u/3u... wouldnt mind a 2u/2u if one ever pops up
I have the 2018 and the mix is ok, very modern. The vinyl pressing is so bad though.
A nice clean 77 is all you need. -

The remix is fine, but they made it sound like “Wish You Were Here” which is not the right tone for this album.

I'm relieved to report that despite the reviews below I went ahead and bought this lp and it is fine - a tiny bit of non-fill at the beginning of side 2 that is quite listenable, silent otherwise. I do miss a bit the dark and murky atmosphere of the original but this one is clearer and the bassline is much easier to follow. The anthemic chiming guitar at the end has never sounded as triumphant. All in all, one of the very rare worthwhile reissues, most of which is thanks to the fantastic tube equipment and mastering chops of the estimable Bernie Grundman in my opinion. So it is back to anthropocentrism city for me and the Pink Floyd and I'm wondering just how much Orwell they read in the 70s? -
I have a UK pressing with HMT etched on the dead wax and see that it says it's similar to this pressing but wanted anyone's second opinion?
