The Beatles is the ninth studio album by the British rock group A Collection Of Beatles Oldies. In it was their thirteenth album overall. It was their 16th album in the US, where it was released on November 25, 1968.
It was the only double album released by the band. Known colloquially as the White Album, it was recorded at EMI's Abbey Road Studios and Trident Studio between 30 May and 14 October and was also the final album (unless you count the Yellow Submarine soundtrack) also mixed in mono. It was produced by Chris Thomas.

I have one I just bought. Cost me a bit. Very nice shape overall. Very plain cover with little text. -2 on 3 sides, side 3 is -4. -

Is it just me ir the treble is like, crazy high on this? While My Guitar Gently Weeps sounds fried -
absolutely agree, this is special. very detailed and as others have said very layered. if you can, grab this one. i’ve been listening to it through the 990 pro headphones and you really do hear everything. -

referencing The Beatles (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Reissue, Special Edition, Stereo, White Vinyl) PCSO 7067-8
My partner and I each bought one new back whenever it came out - just checked and they all look pretty white to me.
The 4x photos are all there in each copy, but I have no recollection of any poster. I suppose it's possible we both stuck it up on a wall somewhere in a group house 37 years ago and forgot about it. -
I'm trying to add my copy onto the database but I'm having issues. My copy has WHITE inner sleeves and I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have any information about this release? Thank you.

My copy has a missing label on Side 1, it's just a blank Apple Logo with the small green outer text but no track label, sides 2,3,4 look normal.

The real 1st pressing has a stamper 28/29. This is the rare miss pressing that Harrison heard before being released and demanded to remaster it. All remastered lps are stamped 33 or higher. A few of the original ones did get out. Mine is 28/29. I don't see this mentioned anywhere on Discogs
