Waited years to find a good copy of The Wall at a decent price. Finally found this version at my local record store for $30 in perfect shape. Felt like a steal. It really does sound incredible! I can’t imagine this album sounding any better. Great overall mastering, just an awesome find.

Finally broke down and purchased a near mint copy of this version at a local record fair. They wanted $60 and I tried to get him closer to $40. He wouldn’t budge past $55 but I had to fully inspect deadwax. I may have overpaid, but I’ve yet to see one in such great condition (at first doubted the claimed pressing until I inspected) for this pressing.

Holy Hannah is the quality of the pressing and sound amazing! Even if I overpaid I absolutely don’t regret the purchase. The 2016 repress I have doesn’t compare and that gets great reviews.

If you find a version near VG+ this is absolutely the pressing to get… no questions asked.

Yup, everyone already said it. This is the definitive edition of one of the greatest albums of all time. Even on lower end players (definitely not recommended, as you rob yourself of the full scope of this album) it still sounds incredible. Insane dynamics, loud as hell (in the good way) and you can hear distinctly every instrument, singer, etc. on the album.

Highly highly recommend this pressing of this album.

Fun fact: This record was pressed in Pitman, traveled across the country, and ended up back in Pitman :)

Picked up my copy yesterday at the Austin Record Show. My version has the gold stamped promo, sticker and timing stamp. Record is near mint and was the pick up of the year for me.

I was another buyer of the 2016 Grundman re-press, which has it's merits, but this one sounds way, way better. Really happy I found it in good condition.

Received this as a hand-me-down from a close family friend and boy did I luck out. A "VG+" copy that is beautiful sounding and looking, echoing everything others have said. Just a masterful copy and one of the greatest records in my collection, if not *the* greatest.

Agree with others here. This pressing is absolutely incredible. The bass and drums are punchy and the soundstage is highly multidimensional. Just turn the lights out and let this thing play loudly - it's the way this album was meant to heard.

This is one of my favorite records. This was ed down by my older brother. I consider this one of the best sounding records I own. Fantastic mix and master. Bass is fantastic. Big, warm, and round. Going to spin this right now.
