It should be possible to figure out the date the back
cover photo was taken based on the visible headlines (Glasgow Herald ("Callahan slams tax brakes on spending"); Manchester Evening News ("Boy, 15, Dies In Train Horror"); Oxford Mail ("Secretary Held After Shooting"); the band member in the purple sweater (sorry, I don't know his name); the only part of his newspaper I can make out is its title (r) and the main headline ("Strike threat to BL jobs")).

Weird trivia: If you hold the LP front cover up to a mirror the "U" and "P" in "SUPERTRAMP" reads out as "9 11" right over the twin towers, and the cover picture is supposed to be the view from an airplane. I see posts on the internet making conspiracy theories out of this, but as the album came out in 1979, it's obviously just a sad coincidence.

Easily one of the Best Drum sounds put down on album. Headphone listen require to hear all the detalis. Child of Vision sounds magnificent. States that Supertramp Produced Breakfast in America but who got the perfect drum microphone set up and deep rich drum sound. Was this Davies and Hodgson or the engineers?
                    PERFECT ALBUM!
