First Japan Issue, officially licensed by Atlantic Records, on Nippon Grammophon Co. Ltd. green/light blue label design, come in a heavy cardboard gatefold sleeve with Japanese text + lyrics inside and band member pictures with names mismatched (except for Jimmy Page) on rear cover, this was corrected on later releases. Shortly after (about 3 months later, on October) this early pressing was issued with a paper sheet that apologized for the misprint of the names of the band and correct the name of in Japanese explaining who's who.
The second pressing was released with a new cover correcting the names of the band , though with a different cat# MT-1067 and slightly different obi-strip. Item turn 1,800 Yen on obi-strip and back sleeve, also on rear gatefold it reads: Manufactured By Nippon Grammophon Co., Ltd., Japan TA6907

This is a very nice sounding pressing though finding a reasonably clean copy can take some doing! The high end is a little more open compared to the P8041 version. That one has different mastering and perhaps it sounds a little more warm because I think they rolled off the top end just a little. The quality of the recording is a mixed bag anyway. But Communication Breakdown just sounds sublime here...
