Edited 7 days agoThis is a good pressing. The copy I have variant 7 Side 2 58#8171 B//1 1 2 4 matches the copy I have.
Side 1 the copy I have 58#8171 A/1 1 2 3 2 doesn't match other variants of Version 6. -

Not sure what kind of system the 2 reviewers below were using but this is a very dynamic issue. Super clear with great separation of parts. Vocals are best I've heard. I have a super clean copy so perhaps this helps but I can only recommend this pressing.

A/1 B/1 is a beast of a record that is by far the best sounding version I’ve ever heard (and I’ve had practically every US variant and a Classic)
-
A1/B1 it blows away GP MO and 2014 reissue. I am not sure how anyone could call this bad. Well, it is poorly recorded, but sound BIG AND LOUD. It is Rock N Roll, it is meant to fill the room

Was seriously surprised at how much i dont like the UK pressing. Its very harsh sounding and does not sound as good as a George Piros or a Bernie Grundman cut sounds. Bonzo’s cymbals are tinny and his kick isn’t as present, Plant’s vocals are very scratchy sounding and the bass isn’t as good as the other 2 releases. Page’s guitar sounds good though, but not on Black Mountain Slide. Who knows? Maybe I’m just crazy, but the first 5 seconds of “Good Times Bad Times” off the Classic Records release was enough to persuade me to sell my Plum copy. Grab yourself a Piros or a Classic, or if you’re stupid rich, the first Turquoise pressing.

Edited 3 years agoI have a copy of this, which matches this entry, cover and labels, apart from the Side Two runout.
It has 58 scratched out 8, 8 above it 171 B//1 1 then what looks more like 2 reversed 2s, rather than 22 or 25.
Side One runout is 58 scratched 8 hand-drawn 8 171 A//1 1 2 2 8
Is this, this entry? -
I have one similar to this edition, 1969, same labels, but the matrix runout is 58#8171 A//1 2 8 and 58#8171 B//1 1 3 - I can't find this variant on Discogs at all and they are not letting me a new edition. Any help with this would be fantastic, thanks!

Have to disagree with the comment of 'stuba'.
I have this one with matrix: 58#8171 A//1 1 1 2 1 1 and 588171 B//1 1 3 44
Sounds way better than my 1969 US issue ( this one: https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/fr/Led-Zeppelin-Led-Zeppelin/release/2914490 ).
High ends are much more opened; great dynamics and not so over powered basses.
Depends of your equipment, but this is a very nice enjoyable copy !
