I know the 95 Edition was Mastered by Wally and this is by GEO, is there any truly significant difference between the editions? I think I have a 95 Edition somewhere in a box, but I can't lay my hands on it, so I'm kind of curious. My Back To Black copy is perfectly fine too, flat, well centered. I suppose this is all just cork sniffing, but hey, this is discogs... I know this one specifically sounds much better than the thin 70s MCA rainbow label pressings, cuz I traded my 70s copy after a/b'ing them... real night and day difference even though my MCA copy was pristine.

My copy is flawless. Flat surface, perfect centering, and the quality of the actual music on this pressing is excellent with wide soundstage, instrument placement, and no sibilance or spiky frequencies. A++

Rating the vinyl not the music: Sadly this is the worst media pressing I have in my vast collection. Off center, warped and terrible surface noise. Had anticipated a suitable reissue of this classic but will have to acquire a different label copy. My tone arm can track it but definitely gets a workout. New, but defective. Hope it’s not a QC issue with Impulse.

I have this copy and this recent repress https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/John-Coltrane-A-Love-Supreme/release/5364985
Hands down this copy beats it out of the water. I listened specifically on the percussion since it tells you the most about details and the more recent one was a hard to hear compressed mess while this one had a really impressive soundstage and clarity.
Very impressed by this pressing.
