Nice colors. I actually like the yellow too. I think it wants to represent the south of arrakis and the colors of the tribes living there. The problem is with the quality of the pressing. Lots of annoying pops, especially on side C. This was present on the black edition as well, I returned that and got this colored edition instead. Sadly the issue remains. Although it's not at the same times, so I'm hoping a good vacuum cleaning will get the job done.

My five stars are to the music, the physical deseves only three. After the fiasco of the Part One editions this is a major upgrade but still there are unexplainable issues coming from a huge company as WB; the slip on cover is too flimsy, the images lack definition, the mirrored inner prints are just a waste of ink, oversized and wrinkled anti static bags show a lack of attention to detail and the worst, the UNPOLISHED VINYL EDGES, they requiered a delicate sanding and a thorough cleaning.
Totally understand the choice of the redish golden colour vinyl but the yellowish one (???) a clear with black swirl as the other edition would relate to the Harkonnen world, a transparent blue, a slivery associated to the Corrinos...IDK, countless options instead of that yellow. -
the first vinyl play well but the second is unfortunately a bit noisy on the first track of the C side.

This is the Arrakis variant, correct? If so, this color is awesome. The closest thing to “shimmering spice” color pressing you can get :)

The soundtrack is amazing, Hans Zimmer Masterclass. The packaging is awesome, it is a real experience with the triple gatefold and the design is stunning as well. Also the record looks better in person compared what it looks like on pictures. However there are a lot of pops and crackles, especially on the first LP, the gold/red one. Anyway, I would absolutely recommend buying it, I love it.
