Pressing is dead silent and sounds AMAZING . Packaging is beautiful and makes it worth the higher price this goes for
-
Similar to one of the other reviews here my copy is almost unlistenable with significant cracks and pops throughout. I tried to swap it with another copy the same retailer received and even though it was slightly better it is still a chore to listen to. I kept it because it is a beautiful thing and some parts can be listened to but I can't express how disappointed I am overall, especially as others praise the quality highly and it was an expensive buy. Can only put it down to a batch issue.

My copy had some ground noise mostly on side A, prob due to static, I did wet clean the record before playing it but I guess doing it a couple more times will help remove the extra noise. Packaging is great, as is the standard with mondo releases. Soundwise this is great and I just can't understand people saying the mix is too quiet, I cranked the volume up at first thinking it would be so cause of the comments here, but the volume is quite ok imo. I bought this and the sketchbook from the mondo website, import overseas all the way to sweden, and the total price, included shipping and taxes was of 1400 sek, which is around the price scalpers are charging in europe for one of these records, so people in europe, save some bucks and buy directly from the record label, even with import taxes it would be cheaper than buying from scalpers. And Mondo packaging is quite quite good, so chances your package is damage on arrival are the same as if you buy inside europe.

Absolutely beautiful pressing. Perfect in every way! The sound is full and bright, it’s enthralling. This is what a score pressing should sound like. The sleeve is nothing to gawk at either. It’s made of cardboard and comes with a PVC slipcover, which is a nice touch! The vinyl are so pretty, a translucent sand color, reminds me of glass. I scored this NM for $20, and it’s apparently one of the best deals I’ve ever gotten considering how amazing this entire release it and how much it’s going for. Get this if you can, it’s a MUST for any collector that loves scores on vinyl.

Phenomenal record from the presentation of the package to the wax itself. The gatefold is beautiful and the printed inner sleeves include a separate poly sleeve which was a nice surprise! The images on the printed sleeve look spectacular.
The music on the record itself indulges you to get lost in the sounds. There’s not a hint of surface noise or any pops and cracks. I’m listening through Kef Q350 speakers and the sound is expansive. Overall this is a 10/10 in every category and I wish more recent records produced were this amazing.
(The only minor mistake is on Side D, the record label has misspelled “desert” as “dessert” for the final track which is hardly anything to complain about given how impressive this release is.) -

Received mine about two weeks ago (I am located in ). My disc one has the same labels SIDE A on both sides!!! However the pressing is correct for Side A and "Side B". Do you think I shall create a specific reference for this?

Edited 2 years agoAbsolutely gorgeous sounding pressing here. One of the best things I've heard from Mondo actually. Very low noise floor and outstanding dynamic range. Mastered for vinyl by James Plotkin so I'm not surprised. Recommended.

Edited one year agoi was hyped because of the good comments but my copy on A1 and C1 side are completely unlistenable, huge noise and loud pops and cracks even after a deep cleaning. I can't even get a replacement because it's not available anywhere. the records and packaging looked really cool but had to get refunded
Edit : finally found another one, and it sound perfect

I had a lot of Mondo releases and this one is definitely one of the best in of pressing quality, artwork and the slipcase, great collectors item!
