This version comes with the original jacket artwork and a very high quality recreation of the original photo inner sleeve. It has the original WB labels.
My copy is *nearly* perfectly flat and has *virtually* no surface noise and sounds excellent.
Like some people below my copy skipped on Take On Me and another song on Side A out of the sleeve, but after a very quick and basic cleaning with a microfibre cloth and distilled water the skips were gone. -
Has anyone else also experienced notable sibilance on all the tracks, and not just those closest to the centre?

I bought this Oct 2023 (at release for Rock-tober) to replace my OP lost to time. Wasn’t aware the Take On Me track was wrecked for folks before reading here. Sorry to hear 😢 -
Edited 8 months agoI was a little hesitant to order this, based on the negative things I've seen frequently mentioned about the various recent pressings of this album.
Just got it in today. I have absolutely zero skipping anywhere (actually expected to have at least some on "Take on Me" due to numerous reports of such). Also, this record is dead silent. Wish everything in my collection sounded this good!
Only other thing I'll add is that I ordered this from Amazon (sold directly by), and the listing says "The 1921 Centenary Edition pressed on Orange Vinyl", which would be the HMV anniversary variant, however, this one is the pressing I actually received. Not super surprised, as Amazon doesn't ever really seem to know what they're doing as far as supplying correct details on their various vinyl album listings. I wasn't seeking out the HMV edition specifically anyway, and I'm definitely happy with what I received. -
just got mine today. same track 1 issue, an album sans Take on Me. otherwise its a very impressive clear vocals pressing! not easy for me to find the album in oranges, will keep it! -

Track 1 - Take on Me... multiple cracks and jumps.. the track pressing is very defective. taking it back to the store for an exchange. highly disappointed on the quality of this German Orange Limited vinyl release. Hopefully other copies are not flawed.
