NME magazine once rated The Queen is Dead as greatest album of all time. The
Sound on this pressing is just magnificent -
Great pressing, no surfaces noises, nice soundstage. Easy-to-find edition of a cult album. Go for it !

Edited one month agoSo does this output a better sound quality than on OG? I am BEYOND impressed with this sound quality.
I must have gotten a good copy because mine is flawless without issue. Especially in the later tracks. -
This is so great! This pressing slaps! Echoing the comments on here. The Smiths best album and optimal did a great job on it. Packaging is nicely done as well. Best way I’ve listened to this album so far.

Agree with all the compliments. I’m adding this ver. LP is better than CD, remastered in 2011. LP is more natural and warm, the way of not losing definition or frequency cuts.
-
Incredible pressing for a great low price, playback was absolutely flawless for me with nothing taking me out of the experience. Highly recommended

Edited one year agoA steal for 20 quid. I compared this to my original pressing and as expected nothing will beat the original but to the untrained ear this is also an excellent press. The only print error is in the gatefold pic of the band outside Salford lads club. On the original you
Can see "coronation" on the street sign but on the repress the sign is missing the "on" at the end of "coronation"
God what has my life come to.
