The original mono is just incredible, really feels like they’re in the room wow

I have both the UK mono and stereo versions of this lovely LP. The mono is exceptional, beautifully mastered and pressed. A true -- and sadly extrememly rare -- gem!

This album is beautiful from start to finish…it’s taken me 15 years to get another mono copy after selling my copy to fund something else(big regret)…this is without a doubt the finest sounding pressing there is to my ears

Just heard this UK mono in it's entirety via needle drop recording and wow it has to be right up there with the same dynamics and punchy depth of sgt. peppers. Absolutely stunning, too bad I'll never own this 😔

I've got a weird copy. Side 1 is mono, Side 2 is stereo. Just noticed when playing it earlier. Does this merit a new discogs page? I've heard about the same issue before.

Well worth the price of ission... Tried the 2015 half-speed mono master and that one isn't even close. If you can find a good needle drop of this album you will be amazed.

Fantastic mix on this pressing, one of my prized possessions!

Mono mix of Care of Cell 44 is the same on here as it is on the original 7" single. About 40 seconds shorter. I love this album. I think I prefer mono to stereo but both are amazing.

just found about this band due to a video retelling the infamous story of how the zombies were extorted by US record agencies in that they assembled some unknown musicians who toured the US as "the zombies" playing their hits/music.this was possible as the original band dissolved two years before their first single became a hit.hardly no one knew because back in the day information about bands were scarce, not like today where any info is a click away.the funny part is that two musicians who were a part of this scam found fame later as ZZ TOP,crazy!

Care Of cell 44 mono version 40 sec shorter than Stereo version, but then Stereo O&O was an after thought.
