The Who Sell Out was originally released in the UK as Track 612 002 (mono) and Track 613 002 (stereo) on 16 December 1967. It reached 13 in the UK charts. In the US it was released as Decca DL 4950 (mono) and DL 74950 (stereo) [on 6 January 1968]. It reached number 48.
