Because a huge conglomerate owns this IP, they have no idea what anything is truly worth. UME ran a 1-day sale and I got this for $15, a steal. Three times that amount would be fair because of the music alone, although I do have some philosophical problems with reissues of old pop releases going for modern money. I know, easy for me to say.
More than just a great remaster and pressing, this was a rediscovery for me, having not heard this in many years and certainly never this good (I do NOT own older "good" copies).
If you like The Who but don't yet know Sell Out, buy this without regret. -
The LP and cover are described as "VG+," which isn't true. The cover has stains and is completely damaged! You can't sell something like this anymore! I would have preferred to return the LP! I don't recommend it!

A fine recording. This is where The Who really begin to set themselves apart from a crowded field:. writing and performance is fresh and inventive. One of the best albums to emerge in this early period of British rock. And, the end of Rael makes a reprise appearance on Tommy. Recommended! -
I have the 1st pressing of the Who lp who's sell out. Question on side 2 runoff there is music is that normal on this record.

How the median price of this is $12 is mind boggling. This is without question the finest pressing of this album I've heard. Fantastic packaging as well. -
I will echo what others have said. This may or may not be the definitive pressing of this excellent album, but it sounds terrific and can be had for a great price. -

I have listened to The Who Sell Out, both stereo and mono versions - always with a stereo cart, probably thousands of times over the last 40 years and just listened to this mono reissue for the first time with a mono cart and it’s like hearing it for the first time again. Phenomenal!!

Is there a way to tell the original pressing by just the cover? I have a sealed copy and have seen the same cover on a Decca label and an MCA label.
