These albums have been released as 2-disc (occasionally as 3-disc) "deluxe editions" on various labels, issued by the back catalogue division of Universal Music Group.
Each double-CD in this series has some typical features, such as the characteristic plastic cover (replaced by a tape sticker all around the lower or upper part of the digipak on some later releases) with the “Deluxe Edition” imprint, a digipak fold-out cover housing two CDs, an accompanying booklet, mostly original artwork, plus usually a load of bonus tracks.
In some versions the characteristic plastic cover has the tracklist printed on the back of the cover, while in other versions the tracklist is printed on a 'rice paper' slipcase insert.
Some editions include a DVD Video, as one of the discs in the package, in which contents include TV performances and other material, as album promotional commercials.
