My copy sounds amazing. No distortion at all and terrific sound.

On the contrary of what most people seem to say, How to Disappear Completely sounded completely fine on my first listen. However, Treefingers had a lot of pops (which I assume are my fault, I may have brushed the record incorrectly before listening). Otherwise this is great!

Side A of Amnesiac is unlistenable. The needle sways sideways as if the pressing was oval. So every song sounds drunk and terrible. Never seen such skating before.
The rest of this pressing is fine.

I’d maybe give it a five but it was dirty and didn’t sound great the first couple listens. After a couple wet cleans and plenty of going over it with a carbon fiber brush it was listenable and it got better with each spin. I’m assuming the stylus cleaned out some of the deep grooves. My discs still had bits of vinyl around the edges that shouldn’t have been there and I had to peal off.

Distortion throughout the entire last half of How To Disappear Completely. Such a shame.

So, my pressing for Kid a is really bad. Distortion on every track of side A and towards the end of side B. Everything in its Right Place is not in i's right place and How to Disappear Completely is unlistenable. I haven't played Kid A in ages becouse of the bad quality. Amnesiac and the Kid A B-sides on the other hand, sound amazing. The detail, all of the songs on Amnesiac are insanely good. Hearing the album on Vinyl made me appreciate it way more. Also the b sides sound really good, side b of the b sides has a few pops here and there and a bit of distortion on How to Disappear into Strings. I think I'll buy a separate Kid A record becouse I love the album and it's a shame it sounds that bad and distorted.

The future of vinyl pressings will be a lottery, you can win or lose. I have won, I have played bingo everything sounds beautiful

My copy sounds excellent, but - as other reviews have mentioned - it required a thorough cleaning first. And then another one.

Meh. This sounds really bad. Bought Kid A and Amnesiac 45RPM instead.

To me, I won’t trust half-speed cut anymore.
