I recently bought this version. It looked perfect but record 2 - side 3 & 4 - was really bad. Track 1 on both sides has lots of surface noise. This is not because of clicks and pops nor dirt, but due to a pressing fault. Its in the grooves. I had to return it to the shop. I wondered if anyone else would have the same issues. I am temped to buy a new copy but afraid it is a pressing fault. -
I agree this is a great Mofi pressing. Thick bass and a heavy sound on this release. One of Dylan’s best ”later” albums. -

This atmospheric album is even more astonishing when given the 45 rpm treatment and spread over two LP. The space between instruments including Dylan's voice , close your eyes and your there in the studio.

Just opened my copy, ultrasonic cleaned, disc 2 side 1 looks like someone carved a groove around 3/4 of the first track and half way through. Like you would literally need to be blind not to see it! I posted a picture on the mofi Facebook page, not that they will ever comment or apologize for there bs quality control. I am so frustrated with this bs, and having to hold the local brick and mortar shops liable is even more frustrating. It is getting really old! 19 a month for tidal is starting to sound a lot more appealing and I would have a lot more money in my bank .

I was very worry after reading a few reviews, but I am happy to say that my copy plays flawless with only 2 pops. The bass on this is dangerous. Its SOOOO DEEP!
But why the hell this Most of the time end up ending side b insteed of starting side c?
