Just got a copy of this pressing off Amazon. Threw it on and was groovin. Sounded great. Then the ship sank fairly quickly. The record wasn’t the greaaatest looking out of the shrink but it didn’t look terrible. About 2 songs in and I started getting skips. At first I’m like “maybe it’s just this one. And it’s gonna work itself out”. Nope. Got to maybe 6 or 7 parts with more skipping, all on side one. Couldn’t even finish side one. Will be ing Amazon to try and get a different copy. Will update if/when I do

Edit: got a replacement copy and everything sounded great. Great mix. Stellar sound. Solid ass pressing.

Amazingly punchy pressing with great sounding drums and vocals. Well mixed: every layer is perfectly placed and distinct. A 10/10 album for me, personally. Ecstatic energy, lovably weird humor, riffy guitar, bizarre keyboard bleats, and tight songcraft make this a post-punk (post-everything?) classic for me.

This can be the only copy i have as i've looked at all the other CD's. Mine is cat no 34712 which is at the bottom central on CD. No Made in the USA next to it. Rear cover has 'OMCD1037' underneath is 3471-2 underneath is the white box containing the SID (i think) which is 0 7599-23471-2

My favorite album of theirs sounding astoundingly good! No brainier if you want a great sounding copy. Still available at the labs.

Very audible ‘thump’ on mine at the end of the intro to Party Out of Bounds…thought I’d not shut the turntable lid properly…poor.

Found a reasonably priced used copy and wasn't expecting much, but this pressing sounds loud, fun and alive. Fantastic album and top notch cut.

For all you Wild Planet die-hards, one of the most overlooked/ unknown B-52's tracks is this unique early instrumental take on "Running Around ..it cam be found on - Rock Lobster (7", 45 RPM, Single, 'A' issue) WIP 6506

I have, seemingly, this release. However, the song sequencing on the B-side is different than listed on sleeve and label. B-side starts with Quiche Lorraine and ends with Devil In My Car. The only other comment I can find with this sequence is on a promo version of this album. This, however, is a commercial copy with all the same characteristics as this version listed here.
