Anyone else have near constant noise on a NM copy?

Has a bit of surface noise throughout both sides but the mastering and dynamics of the music more than make up for it, grab this one if you can because this blows the digital mix out of the water :DDD

Amazing LP. Reflections In Suspension has a uniquely introspective quality to it that keeps me coming back.

There is a 1CD version of the 40th anniversary remastered edition available, I have created an entry for the release but somehow it isn't showing under the various reissues of this album.

The outer sleeve is a bit flimsy, but the art reproduction is top notch. Clean poly-lined inner sleeve and loaded with 40th anniversary goodies. Beautiful color variant on thick, flat wax. The sound is so good here, especially for an ambient release. The B-side will leave you floating. Best taken with hot tea and quiet afternoons or perhaps a late night pondering the nature of existence.

Now THIS is how you do a repress. Especially the B side is flawless.

This new remaster isn’t bad, but the 30th Anniversary Remaster from 2014 is quieter and sounds more pleasing to my ears. There’s too much bass on this one.

My hype sticker differs from the release notes and has "Second Pressing of 1000". Perhaps a different variant?

got this in today, miles better than the telephone explosion reissue i also have a copy of, pressing wise. almost dead silent, the occasional pops and clicks throughout but nothing loud enough to be distracting, especially for such a quiet mellow album like this one.

nice sound with a warm bass but not excessively compressed and boosted either, howard givens has done fantastic remasterings for steve roach throughout the years. if the quiet pops and clicks annoy you the CD (either the 40th or 30th anniversary, they are different but both are mastered by howard) is perfect
