Man, this pressing seems to be really hit-or-miss when it comes to quality.
On the one hand, the mastering is beautiful and loud, perfect for this record.
On the other... getting a playable copy seems to be hard. My copy, which I cleaned straight out of the packaging, sounds like it was pre-played hundreds of times. Frequent crackles and pops all around.
Maybe it would be less noticeable on a speaker system (the loud mastering does cancel out some of the noise, but it's far from perfect), but I wouldn't take the bet. -
What a fantastic album. My copy sounds great and it's going to get a lot of plays, so I better order another for back-up!

My copy sounds really really good. No noise, pops, ticks etc. Plays pretty loud too, considering how long each side is.

Please share opinions. Very quiet, minimal album, low level of surface noise and other artefacts would be very appriciated.
