I'm so used to hearing over the past few decades on a crappy record player, a crappy car stereo, old CD player, and then MP3s.

Listening to it on a really nice system, tube phono stage, Mofi Masterdeck with Lyra Delos, and Sonus Faber Sonetto V speakers.

I had the 4 LP box set that is out there currently. The Classic IMO is much better.

Bass is good, drums sound killer. Bonham's cymbals are really there. Listening to "No Quarter" and the hi-hat snaps! I could hear the snare drum rattle underneath from the organ bass notes in a quiet age. Of course guitar and vocals are very focused.

Moby Dick is the best I've heard. Standouts for me: Celebration Day, Rain Song, Dazed, Whole Lotta Love. Overall great record. Very happy with it.

Turned it up loud, and lowered it. It's a pleasant listen either way.

A qualidade do audio desse disco é ruim. O som não apresenta clareza e separação entre os diversos instrumentos e vozes. Pesquisei a respeito e de acordo com o site The Skeptical Audiophile, prensagens internacionais, como as brasileiras, frequentemente utilizavam cópias de segunda geração das fitas master, resultando em um som "pequeno, velado, borrado e sem vida" . Isso se deve ao uso de fitas duplicadas e à qualidade inferior dos equipamentos de masterização e prensagem disponíveis em alguns países na época.

I got my copy at age 10 in 1978. I listened to it religiously while staring at the pages of the inner booklet. This is one of the best and most iconic live records ever made. I still love it.

During our honeymoon we made an effort to go to some used media stores in Kyoto while my wife and I were visiting.

Always knew that some Japanese pressings of zeppelin records were considered the best way to experience the album (thinking of Led Zeppelin II in particular)

Didn’t not find zep II but saw this album in what appeared to be immaculate condition. Picked up this a few others for like 20 dollars.

When we got back to the states I found that every album I got was in almost perfect condition. The accompanying lyric sheet and booklet don’t have any blemishes or creases. Whoever owned this before me definitely took care of it.

Anywho, this album does sound very nice. I always appreciate when the bass pops out of my records and this album is no exception. Bass is forward and prominent, guitar is crisp. Bonham is a bit muddy in my opinion but the fact that they were able to record any sound with him beating the ever living sh!t out of the drums is a miracle in of itself.

Pick it up if you get the chance

my copy has two discs ones and no disc 4. Anybody got the opposite we can swap....long shot I know. or any ideas on getting just disc 4 without having to purchase another one?
