One great prog journey album . I should have listen this earlier . Mastering is good . Recommended

Delivers exceptional audio. The wax is dead silent. One of the best 'On the Threshold ...' pressings I've heard.

Excellent sonics with deep bass and well defined instrumentation. Vocals are creystal clear without any sibilance. Vinyl is perfectly quiet. This is NOT the typical Japanese remaster with over accentuated treble. I prefer this version to my 2W/2W UK 1st press because there is better instrumental clarity.

I agree with Imrsf. I find the remastering quite acceptable, and in that regard the musical presentation of the Moody Blues genius is very good. But the noise, especially on side two is unacceptable. I am of the assumption that it is negligence on the part of MOV, and a gross inattention to quality control. Who cares? Just get product out the door. MOV used to be one of my go to manufacturers, but not so much anymore. I have 40 year old albums, that have had considerable play through the years, that sound better. Shameful!!

This pressing sounds really good, it breaths, clear stereo sound seperation. Cover is glossy but without booklet.

These remasters really sparkle. There is so much fine detail, too bad they rolled off the low end. Still solid editions, though.

Art collides with commerce and both succeed. Beatlesque and bloody brilliant, this edition has wide range depth and resonance.

Is there any sibilance at the end of side 2 like many originals Uk and Canadian pressing? Mostly during the voyage sont?
