Oh my God this is skipping, Sister Midnight Nightclubing unplayable. Funtime plays. The first two songs on the second disk don't play either. Disk two is live and sounds like a horrible audience bootleg. This is a disaster. Do not buy this CD

Dirty, filthy, grungy, disgusting. This pressing captures all of the qualities that make this record unique, and presents it clean and flat to boot. A masterful pressing

My vinyl is black (not orange), but it’s a glossy sleeve bootleg purchased in Europe.

Sound quality is ok, a bit lifeless and dull. No surface noise on my version. I A/B tested with an RCA Iggy Pop compilation and it was definitely less sharp and somewhat quieter.

Still happy to have this until I can find a better press for my collection.

Question: if my Iggy Pop records contains a runout which does not correspond to any….what do I do?

This pressing sounds insanely good. Go for it if you're on the fence.

Even though these are later pressings, we used to grab them up because it's high quality vinyl. Just A/B'd a US early pressing, this is quieter and crisper sound wise... same with Lust For Life, seems like the Germans in the mid 80s were pressing some good vinyl, there's a number of classical recordings from that period of time too, that are probably the best available pressings. If you can get clean copies of any of these black and silver label RCAs, for cheap, you will not be disappointed... unless having a barcode on the back is a deal breaker for you. And lest you forget...Produced by DAVID BOWIE... says it right there on the front cover!

i bought this without noticing it was from 4mwb. goes without saying, but avoid at all cost.

in a recent trip to london i came across an original pressing for £40 in great condition, so they’re not that hard to find. your ears (and your equipment) will thank you.

I’m so proud to own an OG promotional copy of this record. there’s nothing to say that hasn’t been before. sounds astounding!!

Killer sound on my copy. A steal at 20 dollars and a must for any collection!
