This is fantastic sound. I’m very stingy about wanting to sell this and get the 2LP remaster instead that will obviously sound even better than this does, but I definitely won’t sell this and I can wait awhile to get the 2LP because this sounds really great in sound and dynamics. To have all the tunes on 1LP instead of 2LP this is pretty good quality, having said that the 2LP will sound even better.

But again having said this sounds AMAZING !

Just bought this from TheSoundOfVinyl for $12 and I think I over paid for it! The dynamic range on this is very limited and sounds muddled. Highs are capped and lows aren't very low either. If I crank it some more detail comes out but not impressed. Also, no code in my copy. Everything else matches from UPC and runouts.

My first copy was a non filled disaster but after waiting a while ive double dipped and the second is pure perfection... thick, dead flat, bang on centre, groove defect free and quite superb of playback.
The mastering shines too, easily betters my 5 year old CD copy.
VERY happy with this one and just more evidence Optimal is getting back to making consistently excellent pressings again!

i'm obsessed with this pressing. the original CD was very, uh, 2004. digital sounding, loud, etc. this is dead quiet and has dynamics for dayyyys. truly the definite way to hear this album.

extremely high quality pressing and packaging too. no noise, no scuffs, no tracking issues. nice heavy jacket, printed inner sleeve, booklet, etc.

Has anybody else noticed some slight distortion during "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" (during the high note as Bono sings "can you hear me siiiinnnggg") and also during the end of "Yahweh"? I am hopeful it's not my stylus; I have an ATVM95ML, so it's a really decent stylus...hopeful that it's just the pressing...

First time I have owned a copy of this album so cant compare but I am perfectly happy, great pressing so much depth to the sound. Really nice.

Picked mine up form a local store.
I have the CD too and this is better, but not by a ton (enough though).
Mine is quiet with no noise.

Probably one of my best trackers.. sounds really good right into the centre of the disk. Nice.

Have both the innersleeve and the printed one. Booklet is very nice with nice glossy images. Doesn't sound as a remastered version though, audio is decent though but could've had a more balanced sound. Still good copy though, happy to have it. Hopefully they'll release more of their back catalogue any time soon.

Is this the same as the version being released on US Amazon tomorrow? Or is that an actual US Version and not an import?
