Chick Corea created with his Return to Forever band another jazz category. First album of RTF was in fact second, because the title album was recorded in spring the same year, but printed in 1975. Plenty of inspirating music full of energy and latin rhythms backed into jazz and bit prog coat. Here with more sweet vocal of Flora Purim. Two tracks appeared on Getz Captain Marvel with the same band - chance to compare. Beautiful last Spain with intro inspired by Rodrigo´s Concierto de Aranjuez. Clark added superb part and solos on double bass which sounds bit like guitar. This pressing has "light as feather" weight, but sounds solid, slightly with sexy distorted Purim´s "s". Anyway must have album and recommended reissue.
