Edited one year agoAbsoluty love this album, but my pressing is really terrible. I bought it sealed, gave it a quick clean with my anti static brush, and it had distortion and loads of clicks and pops. Very disappointed given I spent over $30 on it at Newbury Comics.
-
My gold vinyl edition is a good pressing: silent, plenty of bass, quite a refined top end. A real pleasure to hear such a production in probably the best RTJ album so far. Less nasty gangsta ego on this record.
-
My copy sounds really, really good. Definitely one of the louder records in my collection. I will say side B was really static-y, but I cleaned it and it played beautifully.
-
My copy needs turned up (quiet), but dynamics sound solid on my system. Hey Kids is EXPLOSIVE and sounds pretty great imo. Sounds like a majority of these presses are severely flawed though. Definitely need to upgrade.

-
Edited one year agoWow.. I'm glad I bought this from the local record shop when it came out. The prices people are charging are nuts. That's Discogs for yeh though..

8-7: repress coming up on black wax. Good luck with your overpriced stock! -
Just got an email from SRC Vinyl. They’re taking preorders for a repress @ $30.99. Don’t pay the crazy prices here.
