Can only echo what everyone else is saying here. Gorgeous sound, massive soundstage! Punchy bass and a crystal clear high end. Dead quiet after a proper clean. Records are a little on the thinner side, but pressed and cut quite clean. I don’t have an issue with the gold disc sounding muffled. Sound quality is just as fantastic as the blue marble disc on Side C, but Side D does sound a bit quiet in comparison; listening with an Ortofon 2M Blue here. Album artwork looks beautiful, overall a wonderful reissue! -
I picked this up on pre order, but only just playing it now for the first time.... WHAT A PRESSING!!! Just wow, absolutely flawless, really really good! These Rhino pressings always seem to be very good. -
Gorgeous edition. Sound is perfect, artwork recreation is impeccable. Simply put, an exceptional reissue on one of pop's finest albums. 5 stars. -
Edited one year agoSomebody worked really hard on this one—not only a beautiful presentation of this brilliant collection on colour vinyl, but a really gorgeous, careful mastering (they fixed all the sibilance heard on other cuts/reissues). I still am quite fond of the original vinyl release, mostly because of how open and fresh it still sounds today (love the “QSound” mixes done by Sheppy & Co.), and because I have never ever heard “Vogue” sound better on vinyl. But this is the shizzle right here! Immaculate indeed! Now we just need a “Rhino High Fidelity” release for this title…. -
Very nice set. Though I do have some issues with the sound quality. The first LP, the blue marbled one, sounds...well, immaculate. The second sounds much quieter, and sounds a little muffled compared to the first. Maybe it's that brownish color that does it.

Got this today for my birthday. Bit of a "bargain" at £52. I agree with other comments that this is a far superior pressing to the UK/Europe original. I do not have any misprinted labels on my copy but find it ironic that a US/Canada only release is manufactured in the Netherlands!!! Best greatest hits album of all time. -
This re-issue is just an amazingly incredible one. The sound is pure, you can hear every single sound of the music, the bass is just... UH God, more than perfect, I love it so much.
This album is a classic and a must-have!

Edited 8 years agoThis 2017 is a MUCH nicer pressing than the earlier UK/EU pressing (WX 370). No more inner groove distortion toward the end of the record. Someone was asleep making the older original
Uk/eu pressing as the songs toward the end of the record sound horrible. But this new pressing is jnteresting that this new pressing has the flat edge pressing. And the sound is dynamite! :) -
