Let's not beat about the bush: this is possibly the worst quality of vinyl I own at the moment. The sound seems to fade away near the end of every vinyl. So when you reach 'Deeper and Deeper' or 'Thief or Hearts', it has lost all its power. Very disappointing, unfortunately.
-
one of the best pressings in my collection! no clicks or pops at ALL for me, and the packaging is stunning (in comparison to madonna's other albums as well)
-
gorgeous packaging, perfect pressing for this album, and it sounds amazing. couple of pops hear and there but nothing too bad, and the sound quality makes up for them anyway
-
I walked into a Sainsbury's in the UK by complete chance a few years back (I live in Switzerland) this was a complete bargain and filled a gap in my collection. Well playing it today on a Marantz TT-15S1, really a very good pressing, soundstage, bass, clarity are all first rate. If you can get a copy for a reasonable amount get one. I think I paid about 20 quid at the time.. today it's nearer 100?
-
Can we talk about how GREAT this pressing is? Clean, very dynamic, lots of pieces of the songs that ive never heard before on cd or even the original press on vinyl. A must have for any Madonna fan!
-
Just want to reiterate, THIS is an excellent audio pressing to my ears. Soundstage is big. I hear things on an album i grew up with that I have never noticed before. Excellent work to #warnerrecords and #rhino
-
My all-time favourite Madonna album on gorgeous white vinyl. Sound is great, better than the 2012 black vinyl reissue, to my ears. Quality of the artwork could be slightly better and still has the '1989' copyright on the back but definitely worth having. Her most underrated masterpiece.

No , I’m not impressed with the quality of this release , no clicks or pops BUT sound is low and very digital / metallic. Sounds like a cd ! Much better other coloured blue vinyls for Ray of Light and Music

Edited 6 years agoCouldn't agree more with below comments. I owned 4 different copies from original to reissues, and this is by far the best sounded Erotica. German black reissue is the 2nd best.
