After reading the other posts here, I guess I'm lucky. For the most part, my copy sounds great. Overall, Clutch pressings are not great, but this one is better than the other ones I have. The sound is loud and clear, there are 2 pops in one song, but I haven't deep cleaned it yet. Something is definitely off center with the label though, as others have stated. Not sure who pressed it, but they may need to look into something different than the private pressings they've been doing for some time. Overall, this is a good one, so grab it if you can.
-
Centre hole is poorly cut. I don't know where they get them pressed but many of my Clutch records have some sort of defect.
-
Tons of static and surface noise even after multiple cleans. Very annoying. Spindle hole also way too small.
-
My copy also has a spindle hole that is too small and is slightly off center. My copy has a ton of surface noise even after cleaning.
-
Spindle hole on my copy was small enough that the vinyl got stuck on my turntable. Almost snapped it trying to get it off.
Punchy sound as per previous review, though lacks a bit of bass. -
Quiet, punchy, and clear. Every hit of the snare and kick sounds powerful on this record. Miles better than the CD release.
