I have a copy of this with the same secondary Runout, but it has "PZ 34224" on both labels instead of "JZ 34224".
-
One of the best sounding records, if not THE best sounding record I own. My version is quite thin and very floppy but does it ever sound crystal clear and the mix is stellar. Color me impressed!

a great collection of musicians but i find most of the lyrics to be very simple and cheesy to the point where i knew how almost every line would end while listening .
i also get a joe lynn turner vibe from the singer but thats not a bad thing.
"carry on" is a rip snorter but don't expect the rest of the album to be able to match it.
it's a bit of a shame as the production and overall sound is awesome. -

Usually I avoid reviewing heavily used records, but this one plays NM so I think its fair enough. And I just had to because by god does it sound good. The dynamics and detail are superb on this old goodie and if you can get it in NM condition its worth its weight in gold at these selling prices. Great use of high and low end as well. I can mostly only speak for the 1976 releases mastered by STERLING, the closer to the original source should be better. Truly a budget audiophile record.
Update: Still kick ass sounding and probably even more so with my Nag. Get a US Sterling press!

I have an original bought from 1976 and sounds fantastic, no clipping or hot spots anywhere.....Try dbl checking your cart alignment maybe?

My copy sounds like crap; kinda like its clipping or mistracking or something? My other records sound great. Anyone had problems with this record? Its possible I have a different pressing, my matrix doesn't quite match up with any of the pressings on discogs
