I have a variant # 2 which is a little noisy and sounds good but not nearly as clear as the 1st Monarch (nothing is) or the 1st Pitman or the 1st Pitman repress. That next level for sound and clarity from being EQ’d. Still a very good pressing.

One of the greatest albums ever recorded since the start of music. Intense music and instruments, accompanied by Jim Morrison’s strong vocals. I can imagine a clean Gold Label (like this one) would sound fantastic. Although mine is not clean, it still plays pretty nicely. I would definitely put this on top of the 2009 Stereo Reissue, but below the Analogue Productions and the DCC. So, that makes this my 3rd favorite pressing, unless the MOFI release from 84 changes my mind!

Lucky to have a mint condition press of the true classic Doors Album. With songs like Break on though to the other side, Soul Kitchen and Light my Fire. Demonstrates just what a great band the Doors were. A must have for anyones vinyl collection.
