OKAY! This SUCKS!!!
DISCOGS has banned the sale of this album, and this is the ONLY WAY TO GET IT is an unofficial pressing. I bought Mezmerize on here (back before it became controlled by the Nazi-Record Industry and became Disclogs!)
So the only way to get this now is to pay $200 for an original, if you can find one. I would have been HAPPY TO GET THE UNOFFICIAL just as I am way happy with the first one.
But it looks like it is official: Discogs has been de-nutted and lost their balls. They will DEFINITELY lose alot of business thanks to this dick move!!! -
Edited 8 years agoClear release is done a little crappy. Listenable but warped. I can actually watch my needle move side to side while it plays. Not as noticable in some spots but anywhere they're holding the note for an extended amount of time it's a little unbearable. -

Sounds like it was pressed using a digital copy. Not as rich and dynamic as their other official albums. Bass doesnt thump the same. However, I'm still stoked to have a copy for only $32 USD!

Fairly decent for an unofficial copy. I don't usually like buying boots BUT the official copies of most S.O.A.D lp's are pressed as picture discs, which I am not a fan of for durability reasons and sound quality. Plus, the official versions cost quite a lot- I was able to pick this up for around $30 AUD ( a little below the discogs marketplace price ).
In of construction this copy is able. The sleeve is low quality, the label sitckers are a little rough round the edges and the centre hole was a little tight. There are scuff marks on the record surface that do not affect play.
Pretty happy with the sound quality though. Dont know how it would fare on higher end systems but it sounds fairly nice on my ATLP120 through entry level onkyo speakers.
Overall if you're like me and prefer your records on black or coloured wax as opposed to picture discs then I'd say this is a worthwile purchase :)
