Great pressing (reissue), clear sound, huge bass, punchy guitar sound. Record itself is flat, clean and dead silent. Only minus is paper sleeves without antistatic protection, but double album for this kind of money is worth buying a couple of new sleeves.

Much better than the original CD, need to say more? Surface noise is not overpowering and instruments have separation and is very punchy. Gatefold is cool, although a tiny thing being the lyrics on some of the artwork a bit hard to read, due to being black on red. Paper sleeves as ever, though are slightly disappointing.

      Presentation: 4/5
      Sound: 4/5
      Sleeve: Plain White Inners

      Setup: AT-120XUSB, AT-VM95ML

What a pleasant surprise. I got this for super cheap $28 CAD and bought it only with the intention of having one of my favorite childhood records in my collection. I wasn’t expecting a good sounding record as this was recorded during the CD era.

I am actually mind blown by the sound quality. Wide soundstage, amazing dynamics, defined bass, crunchy guitar and thumping drums!

Compression is evident, there is some distortion and sometimes it may sound tad a bit bright, but the amount of life in the music makes up for it.

        Couldn’t be happier!

Is this the 2004 pressing? Seems odd that there are over 200+ M sealed records from 20 years ago for sale at a reasonable price?

what does "identical but has flat labels" mean?

im trying to find the differences between this and the original 2004 pressing, someone noted that the text colour to the right of the barcode is dark/not there on the 2019 but i think thats a bad pic on discogs because on ebay you can see listings that show the back of the 2019 with white text next to the barcode.

So whats this "flat labels" about?

Mine came from the factory with a lot of dust and even a hair. Gave it a good clean, replaced the sh!tty paper sleeves and presto.
This pressing sounds absolutely fantastic. Much better compared to the CD I have of this album.

Sounds pretty great to me! WAY less congested than the streaming and CD versions, this album is allowed to truly shine here. The paper sleeves suck tho, replace them ASAP

                      The bad: paper sleeves.

The good: everything else. Both flat, zero non fills and no scuffs and centered.

Sounds great and plays great. Much better than i hoped even!
