Edited 8 months agoWow, what else can I say if not wow? Exceptional pressing in of majestic sound quality and beautiful artwork, a must have without a doubt. -
The bass and drums on this MoFi version sound really good. Nice, full low end. Exceptional clarity and separation. Stellar dynamics and Bob's voice sounds very natural and present. Light tape hiss on some tracks, most noticeable on Went To See The Gypsy but its hardly heard over the music. Overall a great sounding remaster. The flamenco guitar on Winterlude sounds magical as does the piano on the other tacks. The live jazz house feel is really exemplified on If Dogs Run Free and it sounds like it's being preformed right in front of you. And those background harmonies on The Man In Me sound heavenly. There is really nice detail that can be heard on this record and it has a very clean sound.
