Track B1 samples Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid

Both sides have locked grooves between tracks 1&2 and in between the tracks there's the etched text and on side 2 there's also an etched image of a Feyenoord outfit.

When this came out I was 12 playing a breakout clone named "Poing" on the Amiga. This game also came from the Netherlands. Coincidence? ;)

I wonder if the games title was the inspiration for the tracks title...

Maybe a nice track and all but dunno the hype at all . Similar to was made some time later with Plastik Man : Spastik . Really too repetitive to it's apogee . The real track that is overshadowed here is "Feyenoord" which was the anthem in Dutch football from Feyenoord , somehow what man European countries had during the early 90's with the Moby track "Thousand' which aired on every beginning of à football match .

RTS : Poing is like RTZ : Dance your Azz off as boring as ever .

I`m german so I this jumping sound from the cartoon "Die Biene Maja" as djmushroom said also very clearly. But from todays pov speaking does it really justify the hype around it? The main focus is only this ittedly interesting sound, but besides nothing else much, haha. Saying this with respect but for me when I hear this it has a certain flavor of infantility. I prefer a little the more diverse approach in the ROT 006 release.

I got it - it's the sound of Flip the grasshopper from the German 70s cartoon series "Biene Maja"!!!

The track "Poing" was a very important gabber track and did inspire other artists to make tracks which were inspired by this track. The 12" and cd-single sold a lot of copies all over the world, and the track "Poing" came out on a lot of cd's.

Later on it became one of the most annoying songs which were ever made as it stood a couple of years in the Dutch "Veronica's Flop Top 100".

has gone in history as the highest ranking hardcore track ever in the (commercial) dutch charts (1992).
