Truly one of the best albums of the late 1970s. Everything I ever wanted out of punk and more. Alien Soundtracks is also Superb and deserves recognition. Chrome one of the best to ever do it. -

CHROME "Half Machine Lip Moves" (79)
...i heard this album already in 1979, but did not care further until spring
2005, when i had an amazing "comeback" with chrome & their frontman damon
edge, who died already 1995 under mysterious circumstances. profound
visionary stuff, every minute changing the attitude. hawkwind, faust, can,
gong, pil, fad gadget, pere ubu, cabaret voltaire & suicide comes to mind.
listen to the middle section of track 7 abstract nympho: sounding like a great
gimmick-caricature of mick jagger... -
