I've seen this in 7" form that was x2 7" and I am sure it was not official but it still looked really cool. This had to have been in the late 90s.

I have a copy of Germfree Adolescents in excellent condition. The dead wax says it was mastered at Abbey Road by Nick. the dead wax on the A side is A-2 and on the B side it's B-2 and also etched Nick

Stone cold classic ! Poly was a true original and the world is a lesser place without her in it :(

This fine album is the perfect showcase for Poly’s thoughts and unique voice. Songs about consumerism, personal identity and the plastic society of the 70s - they’re all here, and more.

Two things - let’s not forget the band. The guys are firing on all cylinders and so respect is due to them. I do wish Laura Logic had hung around, but hey ho (let’s go) , it’s not the end of the world.

The other point I wanted to make was I had forgotten how late it was into the punk thang that this was released. The Pistols were all but dead, other bands like Wire and The Banshees were releasing new sounds that made your typical ramalama punk sound a bit tired. Oh Bondage was one of the defining punk singles so I wonder why the band were slow to release an actual album ?

Anyway, its a brilliant example of British punk. Totally unique and totally essential.

I see its not cheap these days !

This is one of the most unique records to emerge from the punk movement. Nothing else sounds like this.

Newly acquired an original UK copy after parting with my original copy (one of my very first record purchases along with Tonic for the Troops and New Boots and Panties) when I sold off half of my original collection 20+ years ago in a house move. Very pleased to have come across a very nicely kept copy.
Agreeing with a comment from 3 years ago, my copy also has Germ Free Adolescence on sleeve, Inner sleeve and labels. Judging by the original listing I guess this is probably the earliest release and there could be a note of this in the release page.

Most beautiful piece of art from the first UK wave of punk. Best punk album I've ever heard (imo)

                    1. Xray Spex - Germfree Adolescent
                    2. Stiff Little Fingers - Inflammable Material
                    3. Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.

Top 3 punk albums made. All from the 77' wave of UK punk
